Why can't the app detect my WhatsApp statuses? +
Make sure you've viewed the statuses in WhatsApp first - the App can only detect statuses after WhatsApp has downloaded them. Also check that storage permissions are granted in Settings → Apps → Hot Status Saver → Permissions.
Does the app work on Android 14 / 15? +
Yes! We keep Hot Status Saver updated to support the latest Android versions. Make sure you're on the latest version of the App from the Play Store for best compatibility.
Is Hot Status Saver really free? +
Absolutely. The core status saving feature is 100% free and will remain so. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases required, and no hidden fees.
Does the app collect my WhatsApp messages? +
No. Hot Status Saver only reads media files from WhatsApp's status directory - it cannot and does not access your messages, contacts, or any other WhatsApp data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Where are saved statuses stored on my phone? +
Saved statuses are stored in a folder called "HotStatusSaver" inside your phone's Pictures or Gallery directory. You can access them from any gallery or file manager app.
Can I save statuses from WhatsApp Business? +
Yes! Hot Status Saver works with both personal WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business accounts installed on the same device.
